Nokia G60, X30 and T20 receive January update with new camera option
Nokia is rolling out a new update for a number of devices. This is the January update, along with improvements to the camera for the Nokia X30 and G60, and a new update will also be distributed for the Nokia T20 tablet.
January update for Nokia
HMD Global, the namesake of Nokia, is rolling out a new update for several devices. Users of the Nokia X30, the Nokia G60 and the Nokia T20 tablet will all receive the January security update. This means a series of improvements in Android’s security. For the Nokia X30 and Nokia G60 even more things are promised in the changelog of the update.
Together with the new security patch, the brand has also prepared a new Android 12 build. We can expect system stability improvements along with interface optimizations. However, the 495MB major update also brings a new Flash Shot mode to the camera app. This option allows you to quickly take five photos in succession at a lower resolution. The Nokia T20 doesn’t get these new camera features, but it does get the January security update.
If the update is available for your device, you will receive a notification on your device. It may take a while until every user sees the new update rolling in.
