Nokia G60 and X30 get February update; Galaxy Tab A8 January Patch

A new update is being rolled out for several Nokia devices. A new security update is not only ready for that; that is also available for the Galaxy Tab A8 from Samsung.

Updates for Nokia and Samsung

Nokia is rolling out the latest security patch available for Android for two of its smartphones. It is security update February 2023. This update addresses the vulnerabilities in Android with several dozen patches. The new update can now be downloaded for the Nokia G60 and the Nokia X30.

The update for the two Nokias only brings the improvements in the security patch. We do not see any new functions and Android 13 is still not available for the devices. It is unknown when the new Android version will be rolled out for these devices.

Galaxy Tab A8

There is also news about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. The tablet that we previously tested extensively in the Galaxy Tab A8 review will now receive the January 2023 security update. Marco informs us that his tablet has received the update. This update has a size of just under 136 MB and can be downloaded from now on.
