Nokia 5.3 and Motorola Edge 20 get new security update

Motorola and Nokia are rolling out a new update for a few of their devices. Users of the Nokia 5.3 and the Motorola Edge 20 will each be offered a new security update.

There are new updates ready for various smartphones. We’ve been getting messages from DroidApp readers about this, thank you. We start at Nokia, for the Nokia 5.3 HMD Global is rolling out the July security update, Theo reports to us. A small system update for the 2020 device was also rolled out a few days ago. The update does not bring any new features or changes.

An update is also ready for the Motorola Edge 20. Richard and Marco inform us that their smartphone will be updated with security update August 2022, the latest update currently available for Android.
