Samsung will soon come with the S8 series of its Galaxy tablet series. There is now news about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, after we previously heard and saw a few things about the Galaxy Tab S8. What do we know about the new model?

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in the news

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is in the news. The information is about Samsung’s new tablet and it is likely to be announced by the company next year. The name Ultra suggests that this will be a powerful tablet, and given the leaked details, that is certainly the case.

From the information that has now surfaced, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display with a WQXGA+ screen and thin screen edges of only 6.3 millimeters. Samsung would have opted for the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm with this model and three choices for the working memory. This would come out at 8, 12 or 16GB. There is also a storage space of 128, 256 or 512GB. Despite the powerful hardware, the thickness of the tablet is only 5.5 millimeters.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will come to the market with 5G, where we have only seen tablets with 4G so far. The battery capacity would be a generous 11,200 mAh, which can be charged quickly with 45W. On the front there are two 12MP lenses, one of which is equipped with a wide angle. On the back, the tablet also gets two cameras; a 13 megapixel lens and a 6 megapixel wide-angle lens. The S Pen support makes it possible to attach it to the back thanks to the magnetic attachment.

Samsung immediately gives the device Android 12, along with the One UI skin. This immediately gets an extra function; an Extra Dim mode that should further reduce the chance of eye strain. The tablet may be expected in January at CES in Las Vegas. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S8 and the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus should also be announced.
