New movies and series on Disney+ in April 2023

Movie: The Pope: Answers

In this film, ten young people of various ages and backgrounds enter into a conversation with Pope Francis, born as Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Francis is number 266 in the Roman Catholic Church, succeeding Benedict XVI. The Pope is seen by the Church as the leader of the world Church and Vicar of Christ on earth. In the film, every subject is discussed, without taboo. The film will be available on Disney+ from April 5.

Series: Tiny Beautiful Things, Season 1

The career of Clare, played by actress Kathryn Hahn, seems to be at an end, her relationship with her daughter is strained and her marriage is falling apart. Enough reasons for Clare to call her life a mess. It is therefore a big surprise when she is asked to write a column. There’s just one problem: it’s an advice column. This while her life is already so messy. You can see Tiny Beautiful Things on Disney+ starting April 7.

Movie: Peter Pan & Wendy

And now it’s time for a real movie that fits Disney+: Peter Pan & Wendy. Peter Pan is seen as a mischievous and kind-hearted boy. Other children are lured to the island called Never Land. Indians, pirates and mermaids live on this island.

The film is a live action remake. Wendy and her brothers are taken to Neverland by Peter Pan, so that they can stay young together forever. It doesn’t take long before Peter Pan’s worst enemy Captain Hook comes after them. You can watch this remake from April 28.
