New iPhone SE 2022 will not get a MagSafe function after all

iPhone SE 2022 will be available this spring without MagSafe
Gradually, more and more rumors appear about the products that Apple is launching at their spring event. Now reliable sources report that the new iPhone SE 2022 does not have MagSafe. We expect it to see the light of day after this spring event on March 8, 2022. Wireless charging is still possible, but no longer via this magnet technology. According to the Japanese website, production of the iPhone SE 2022 has already started in January. That’s why we think we can expect this cheapest phone from Apple around 2022 this spring. What makes MagSafe different from other wireless chargers?
MagSafe, the technology that can be found in all models of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, is a magnetic ring on the inside of your smartphone. Apple has specially designed these to optimize the wireless connection. In this way, unlike other types of wireless chargers, you never place the phone incorrectly on the charging mat. It always clicks through the magnets in the perfect position. The MagSafe ring can also be used to attach a card holder, a power bank or a bluetooth speaker to the back of your iPhone.
However, there is also criticism. The MagSafe technology is slower than when you ‘just’ hang your phone on the cable. The Lightning charger charges an iPhone 12 half full in just under 30 minutes, while the MagSafe takes almost twice as long. It has long been thought that MagSafe is the first step towards an iPhone without a (Lightning) port, but the technology still has a few steps to take. That the new iPhone SE 2022 does not integrate the MagSafe technology seems to be a step back in this process.

Expectations of the iPhone SE 2022
The first iPhone SE (Special Edition) was released in 2016. Then we had to wait four years for the second generation (2020) of this ‘budget’ variant. With the relatively quick arrival of the iPhone SE 2022, it seems that Apple will release the popular device much more regularly. The phone has a fast A15 chip and appears on the market with a suggested retail price of 489 euros with 64 GB storage.
