Our recommendation – December 2022
After Disney ventured into a remake of the classic Pinocchio story earlier this year, award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s (Pan’s Labyrinth, Pacific Rim) variant is coming to Netflix in December. del toros “Pinocchio” was created in loving detail work as a stop-motion film.
“The Witcher: Blood Origin” takes place 1,200 years before the events of the main series. The prequel deals with the elven civilization before its fall, the emergence of the first witcher and the events that led to the conjunction of the spheres. The cast includes Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Star Trek: Discovery), Lenny Henry (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Broadchurch) and Dylan Moran (Shaun of the Dead, Black Books).
And of course the Christmas spirit should not be missing in December and so should Netflix “Scrooge: A Christmas Musical”, “Delivery before Christmas”, “I Believe in Santa” and “Not So Merry Christmas” there will be something for Christmas fans and muffles alike
