► Okja

Psychokinesis is written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho, who also directed Train to Busan. This film is one of the very first Korean superhero films. It features an unlucky security guard who discovers telekinetic powers after a bizarre encounter with a meteor. The hero will then use his new skills to do good around him. Humor, action: a very entertaining film!
► #Alive
#Alive tells the story of a video game streamer who finds himself stranded in his apartment after a zombie apocalypse breaks out in Seoul. As he slowly succumbs to hunger, thirst and depression, he comes into contact with another survivor who lives in the apartment building next to his. The two reunite and try to hold on to hope while doing what they can to survive. Fresh and surprising.
► Night in Paradise
Night in Paradise is an excellent crime thriller that tells the story of a mobster who turns down an offer to join Bukseong’s rival gang, resulting in the murder of his entire family. Tae-goo then takes revenge by killing the men responsible before fleeing to Jeju Island. Another complex and thrilling revenge story from South Korea.
► Kingdom
When you think of a zombie movie, you think of large modern metropolises. The strength of Kingdom is that it’s a zombie movie that takes place in the Joseon era in Korea. It is originally a series (2 seasons), but there is also a spin-off in the form of a film, Kingdom: Ashin of the North.
► Steel Rain
The films that tell stories of conflict between the two Koreas are very numerous, but on Netflix we will only find one: Steel Rain. A North Korean officer is tasked with eliminating two men suspected of plotting a coup. As he waits for these targets, bombs go off and rebel North Korean soldiers arrive on the scene. ► The Call
A young woman finds an old phone in her childhood home, but she starts receiving calls. Very quickly, she realizes that the person on the other end of the line has been calling for 20 years in the past.
