Movie on Apple TV Plus wins Oscar (and it’s not the first time)
Apple again won awards at this year’s Oscar ceremony. This time, a touching animated film on Apple TV Plus won the coveted statuette.

Movie on Apple TV Plus wins Oscar
The Oscars ceremony has just ended. This year’s big winner was the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. The (sometimes absurd) sci-fi film managed to win no fewer than seven frames.
Apple also won an award at the Oscar ceremony. The animated film ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horsegot hold of the coveted statuette. This movie is about the special friendship between a horse, mole, fox and a boy. Incidentally, this animation film has already won awards (including at the BAFTA Film Awards). There are also many well-known stars in the film. In the (short) film Tom Hollander plays the mole, Idris Elba is the fox, Gabriel Byrne is the horse and Jude Coward Nicoll the boy. Incidentally, ‘Causeway’ also received an Oscar nomination on Apple TV Plus, but that film failed to win the coveted statuette.
Apple also won awards last year
In 2022, the film CODA won an Oscar. It was the first time that a movie on a streaming service won the coveted statuette for the best picture. The film CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults) is about a deaf family with a daughter (Ruby) who can hear. This film can also be viewed exclusively on Apple TV Plus.
