Motorola Moto G8 Play receives update on Android 10
Motorola, like other smartphone manufacturers, is focusing on updating its more expensive models, but does not forget the older ones. One of them is the Motorola Moto G8 Play smartphone, which receives an update on Android 10.
An update for the Motorola Moto G8 Play is launched in Brazil
According to gsmarena.com, the update has been launched for users located in Brazil. The package with the number QMD30.47-19 and the size of 1.46 GB is allegedly identical to the one that received the Motorola One Macro smartphone a few weeks ago.
Android 10 brings features to Motorola smartphones such as dark mode, gesture navigation and redesigned user interface elements. The December 2020 security patch is also present.
However, no information is available about how to run the update outside of Brazil. Therefore, if you are the owner of this smartphone, you can let us know in the comments about the availability of the update.
How is the competition?
In most cases, manufacturers are updating their smartphones to Android 11. Recently, they have seen, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy A51 smartphones.
LG also takes care of its smartphones, which recently launched an update for the LG Wing. Xiaomi is also updating its smartphones to the latest Android and only recently launched an update for the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Redmi Note 9S.
Nokia is also doing so and just started a few days ago to update the Nokia 8.3 5G.
