more known about the update policy and design
The Nothing Phone (2) should be announced in about a month. Nevertheless, a lot is known about the upcoming smartphone, so we know more about the update policy, the processor, the design and the battery of the phone. NothingPhone (2)
The upcoming Phone (2) will be, as the name suggests, the second smartphone from the English manufacturer Nothing. The company’s first smartphone, the Phone (1), is mainly known for its transparent back in which 900 LED lights are incorporated. The device stood out because of its premium and luxurious housing made of aluminum and glass, the fairly clean Android shell and the good battery life. The Phone (2) has to surpass all this and the device will probably do the same.
Many upgrades, but update policy remains the same
First of all by implementing a larger battery in the Phone (2). Carl Pei, the co-founder of Nothing, has reported in an interview to Forbes that it will be increased by 200 mAh, from 4500 mAh to 4700 mAh. We already knew that the Phone (2) will have the Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chipset. This is Qualcomm’s fastest processor from last year, which is also known for its efficiency. Due to the combination of a larger battery and a fast, yet economical chip, we expect the battery life to be very good again. The high-end chipset will ensure that the performance of the Phone (2) is even better than that of the Phone (1). Like its predecessor, the smartphone will receive three Android upgrades and receive four years of security updates.

Sustainability and design
Nothing has in a message Twitter Incidentally, more has been announced about the design of the Phone (2). For example, they report that the phone will have to be a bit more sustainable. For example, the device, just like the Phone (`1), would partly consist of recycled materials. According to Nothing, the Phone (2) has up to three times more recycled parts than the Phone (1). For example, the aluminum frame and copper foil are up to 100 percent recycled, the main circuit board consists of up to 90 percent recycled steel and 80 percent of the plastic used is recycled.
The production of the smartphone must also be greener because the final assembly plants – the factories in which the various parts of, for example, a smartphone are assembled – are 100 percent powered by renewable energy. This is certainly not as good as, for example, the Fairphone 4, but it is a step in the right direction. You can read more about the design of the Phone (2) in this article.
