Mercedes-AMG F1 Team makes handy crypto deal
Where is the money nowadays? Right, with the crypto companies. They also find it very interesting to enter into a partnership with the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team.
FTX Trading Limited is working hard. The crypto exchange has been in the news several times in the past year. More and more people are also trading at the platform, which in turn generates a lot of money. Last week, the company announced a partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. According to FTX, the relationship will “cover multiple seasons of racing” and the FTX logo will be “prominently displayed” by both cars and drivers.
Mercedes-AMG F1 Team and the crypto platform
This comes as no surprise. Well-known car brands and world-renowned racing teams are entering the blockchain and cryptocurrency world in droves this year. Whether advertising crypto platforms or NFTs, popular brands and racing teams want to enter the blockchain industry.
At the end of August, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum launched NFTs, Porsche jumped into the non-fungible token industry and Motor Team McLaren got into the NFT battle. NASCAR drivers have been crypto advertising and asked to be paid in digital currency as well. Now it’s Mercedes’ turn.
Marketing
While we know that the FTX logo will be displayed by both Mercedes F1 drivers and cars, other types of FTX branding will be unveiled at the upcoming Russian Grand Prix. The Russian Grand Prix Formula 1 race with Mercedes F1 is scheduled for Sunday, September 26.
“FTX is excited to partner with the reigning Formula 1 World Champions and current team leaders, Mercedes-AMG Petronas, to continue to strengthen our position as the leading global cryptocurrency exchange,” said Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO and Founder of FTX . The company says Mercedes F1 and FTX will also unveil other initiatives in the future, including an NFT collection, FTX Pay integration and other concepts.
