Meduseo: Jellyfish Weather
Can’t get enough of arriving at a beach to find it’s full of jellyfish? Impossible to swim, in short a wasted moment! With Meduseo, the jellyfish weather forecast, find out in real time about the presence of jellyfish on the beaches. You only have to indicate the name of the city to access the information.
The data is presented in the form of bubbles on the map ranging from yellow to red:
– No color: no jellyfish reported.
– Yellow: Rare jellyfish (you may come across an isolated one, no risk for swimming).
– Orange: Some jellyfish (swimming may be possible, but be careful).
– Red: Many jellyfish (we advise you not to swim).
The database is updated every 4 hours for France, Spain, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.
Meduseo uses a unique algorithm, specifically developed for this theme, making the data available in summer but also throughout the year.
Thanks to a new update, you can report the presence of jellyfish on the beaches directly from the application and thus share your observations with the community.
