Max Verstappen goes on a maternity visit to nephew Lio (and that results in these sweet images)
The driver recently became an uncle for the second time; his younger sister Victoria (22) already gave birth to her first child Luka in December 2020. The brand new mother shared the special family moment via social media.
Seventh heaven
“Family time”, Victoria writes with the photos of Max, mother Sophie, father Jos and ‘uncle’ Max with the photos of the little one. Lio was born on December 6, where his older brother was born on December 7 a year before. Victoria and her boyfriend Tom Heuts are in seventh heaven with their new addition.

Due to Lio’s birth, Victoria was unable to attend Max’s decisive race in Abu Dhabi. Mother Sophie also stayed at home to assist her daughter. About this Max later said: “Of course it is a pity that they could not be there, because both my mother and my sister contributed a lot to this success. Yes, I have always been on the road with my father, but without these women I would have cannot do this. They are gold.”
