Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a PS5 release date!
It was one of the big announcements of the Summer Games Fest : A short teaser has finally informed us that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a PS5 release date of October 20th! After the huge success in cinemas Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (already 247 million dollars at the box office), Miles Morales will return at the end of the year exclusively on PS5 of course since the game is a creation of the studio first party Insomniac Games. Twice as large as its predecessor, loaded with new villains (Kraven, Lizard and Venom, among others), this Spidey 2 looks like a very good vintage, even if the technical part hasn’t really made a giant leap. compared to the previous title which was also running on PS4 / PS4 Pro.
Pre-orders for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will open on June 16. The standard edition is offered at 80 euros, against 90 euros for the digital deluxe edition which still includes 10 additional outfits, bonuses for the photo mode, and two skill points already in the web. A collector’s edition is also planned, always “pre-orderable” from June 16, which notably offers a steel book3 skill points, costumes, and especially a 48 cm high resin statue representing the two Spideys fighting against Venom.
