Mario Kart player creates something that no human was capable of for years

The rainbow track cannot be missing in Mario Kart, even if it is not always one of the most popular tracks. If you don’t want to drive it all the way, you can shorten it – but so far only one person has managed it.

One study found that games like GTA V don’t make you aggressive, but let’s face it – that one Rainbow range friendship simply ends in Mario Kart. Nevertheless, it is a duty, sometimes just to win certain successes or to unlock things. After all, they have now been available in several variants since the original Mario Kart on the SNES.

The track is also represented in Mario Kart 8.

For many players it is also mandatory to find shortcuts and break records. In the summer of 2018, a YouTuber named Summoning Salt posted Ultra shortcuts on ten different “Mario Kart” tracks, but the Wii version has one that no one has managed – until recently.

In his video, YouTuber Summoning Salt describes the ultra shortcut as unprecedented. No wonder, after all, there are numerous steps to be observed and executed perfectly in order to achieve the desired success. You can see the mentioned part from approx. 29:20 minutes:

Mario Kart: It’s finally done

About two and a half years later it did happen: the French Mario Kart fan ArthuurrP recently achieved something that was before only with tool-supported runs was made – he mastered the Ultra Shortcut in Mario Kart Wii.

According to eSports advisor Rod Breslau there was already tens of thousands of attemptsto make it, that’s why ArthuurrP can be particularly proud of itself.
