macOS 11.2 release candidate (RC) is available
Apple has just made macOS 11.2 RC (release candidate) available for download for developers. This version (build 20D53) comes a few hours after iOS 14.4 RC, watchOS 7.3 RC and tvOS 14.4 RC.
Here are the bug fixes of the release candidate of macOS 11.2 according to Apple:
- Improves Bluetooth reliability
- External displays could display a black screen when connected to a Mac mini M1 using an HDMI to DVI adapter
- Changes made to Apple ProRaw photos in the Photos app might not be saved
- iCloud Drive could shut down after turning off Desktop and Documents Folders option
- System Preferences might not unlock when entering your administrator password
- The “Globe” key could not display the “Emoji & Symbols” pane when pressed
If your Mac is configured to receive betas, go to System Preferences> Software Update. macOS 11.2 RC will appear, you can initiate the download.
Apple is not yet saying when the final version of macOS 11.2 will be available. But if all goes well, macOS 11.2 RC and the final version for the public will be identical with a release in a few days. The objective of this release candidate is to make sure that everything is working well before offering it to everyone.
