LG Velvet 2 Pro with flag specifications and pressure sensitive buttons

LG has officially left the smartphone market this year, leaving several new smartphones in its workshop that will never make it to stores. These include the LG Velvet 2 Pro model, about which several leaks have appeared on the Internet. The latest device shows in all its beauty and, in addition to confirming several previous leaks, it also revealed other interesting features of the smartphone. The Phone Arena portal informed about the news.

The author of the video initially showed not one, but two boxes. In one of them there is a device together with two covers and a USB cable. The second includes a charger and another USB cable, indicating that the smartphone should have been sold without a charger.

The design has not changed much compared to last year’s LG Velvet 5G model. On the front there is a 6.8 ″ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which hides the fingerprint sensor and selfie camera. The back is made of glass and in its upper left corner there are three cameras. They stand out quite a bit, but they have an interesting surface finish, which contrasts nicely with the black glass of the smartphone.

LG liked to experiment with interesting features, and it was no different with the LG Velvet 2 Pro. It does not have volume buttons on the left, but pressure sensors that can be programmed, for example, to access quick actions or to launch selected applications.

Flag specifications

The video also confirms previous leaks, according to which the LG Velvet 2 Pro was to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The cameras consist of a 64 MP main sensor from Sony, an ultra-wide angle camera and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

The battery of this model has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and supports not only fast wired charging, but also wireless charging. Almost everything is known about the device, but its planned price remains a mystery. If LG did not stop producing smartphones and this model came on the market, it would probably cost a little more than its predecessor.

Unfortunately, this device will not be placed on the market, but LG allegedly gave it to its employees. Tipper Tron posted a post on Twitter with photos of a smartphone box, which said in Korean “Sale prohibited, only for employees”.
