Legendary shooter celebrates a phenomenal steam comeback for a short time
The older of you may still remember when Valve’s first baby stepped through the gates of the first-person shooter world many years ago. Now fans of the series are reviving the franchise on Steam. Why? Because they can!
Half-Life 2: Community revives shooters
The second part of the Half-Life series was delighted sharply increasing numbers of players on Steam and even has the previous record of simultaneously active players within a short time cracked. But this ascent is no coincidence.
Gordon Freeman and Co. benefit recently by a lot of fan love in the form of the so-called breaking-the-bar event that from the LambdaGeneration, a well-known half-life community and launched on August 14th. The aim of the project was to find out whether the current mark of 6,882 players is on SteamDB can be broken.
