Leaked packaging of iPhone 14 Pro reveals a number of features
A photo of the packaging of the iPhone 14 Pro has appeared on the internet. Based on the box, we can already confirm a number of rumors about this new iPhone.
Read on after the ad.
Apple’s new flagship is called iPhone 14
A photo that apparently shows a sticker to seal an Apple product box has surfaced on Twitter. This seems to confirm the name iPhone 14 Pro for the new flagships from Apple anyway. Twitter user ShrimpApplePro posted the photo and revealed a number of new features surrounding the iPhone 14 Pro in addition to the name.
iPhone 14 Pro comes with 6 GB of RAM and in a white box
Unfortunately, we are not 100% sure that this is a real packaging of the iPhone 14 Pro, but it could well be. It’s not uncommon for images of iPhone packaging to pop up ahead of Apple’s annual event in September. We saw the same photo appear on both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13. The name ‘iPhone 14 Pro’ was never officially confirmed. It’s just the name we gave it based on previous models.
There’s something else interesting in the link to the tweet. The post on Weibo (a kind of Chinese Facebook or Twitter) claims that all models from the iPhone 14 series will have 6 GB of RAM. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also stated this earlier.
In addition, the user also reports on Weibo that the packaging of an iPhone Pro model is white for the first time. In the photos we also see the pill shape on the front. Although this concerns one hole in the screen and not two. That is quite a grain of salt that comes with this photo. With the iPhone 14 Pro (Max), Apple seems to want to say goodbye to the notch. But there would be two holes in the screen (in the shape of a landscape ‘i’), and not one big hole. What will it eventually be? We’ll see, on September 7th.
