Leak shows bigger Samsung Galaxy S10 battery in all sizes
Now that the next generation of smartphones from Samsung is getting closer, the rumors become more concrete. A new leak gives info about the size of the Samsung Galaxy S10 battery.
Samsung Galaxy S10 battery leaked
The Samsung Galaxy S10 probably gets a larger battery than its predecessor. A new leak shared by the professional Ice Universe lists the various devices with their batteries.
If we can believe this leak, the basic version of the Galaxy S10 with a 6.1 inch screen will get a 3,500 mAh battery. The larger Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus with a 6.4 inch screen gets power from a 4000 mAh battery. Then there is the smaller Galaxy S10 Lite with a 5.8 inch screen and a 3100 mAh battery.
Samsung seems to be looking for firmer batteries compared to the previous generation. For example, the Galaxy S9 had a 3500 mAh battery and the Galaxy S9 Plus a 3500 mAh battery. This growth does not immediately mean that you also do longer with the battery. The new devices have firmer hardware and larger screens that require more power.
More clarity we get next month, because Samsung seems to be presenting its new smartphones on February 20th. That is a few days before the big telecom fair Mobile World Congress.
This we know more about the Galaxy S10
The Galaxy S10 thus appears in three different formats. Not with a notch, like most new high-end smartphones at the moment, but with a hole in the screen for the selfie camera. On the back you can find several cameras that are likely to be placed horizontally.
