Kraven the hunter: first trailer for the movie about the enemy of Spider-Man
After a leak, Sony uploaded the trailer for the film Kraven the hunter, the fearsome enemy of Spider-Man. He is part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. It will be released in cinemas next October.
The trailer begins with Kraven running through a town. We can also see Kraven’s father, Nikolai Kravinoff, played by Russell Crowe, and the relationship between father and son which is anything but healthy.
The messages shared by Nikolai are about making sure you are the predator in any situation and never showing weakness. In addition to learning that Nikolai left Kraven’s mother to die because she had become ” weak “ And “sick in his head”we see him do the same to his son after he fails to kill a lion.
Kraven doesn’t die, however, and something enters his bloodstream that transforms him into a super-powered human. He then becomes who he claims to be and can now use animals to track down his prey. As the trailer says, “once you’re on his list, there’s only one way out”.
On the other hand, this version of Kraven the Hunter is a kind of anti-hero, since his father “put evil in the world” and get rid of it. The trailer also shows a glimpse of Aleksei Sytsevich becoming the Rhino.
Kraven the Hunter will be released in theaters on October 4, 2023.
