KOGA wins two RedDot awards
Sports bike brand KOGA managed to win two coveted American RedDot awards with its innovative e-bikes.
The Frisian sports bike manufacturer won the awards with the KOGA PACE B10 and the KOGA E-Nova EVO. This signals a trend in which more and more international buyers are opting for quality bicycles from the Netherlands.
You don’t just win the Red Dot Design Award. It is a German international award for high-quality product design and quality. An international jury of experts judges which products excel the most in design and quality. Eleven KOGA bicycles have already received this honor in the past fifteen years. An impressive achievement, especially when you consider that every year around 60,000 products from all over the world compete for this prestigious award.
KOGA is also called the Rolls-Royce among bicycle brands, because each model is handmade by one master mechanic and also gets its own passport. So perhaps this double trophy is not very surprising.
KOGA has been active in the e-bike field for some time now. After a rather clumsy start, in which the brand produced a bicycle without a detachable battery, the Frisians have done well in the last five years. You will notice this in the KOGA PACE B10 and the KOGA E-Nova EVO, for example.
