Kimberley Klaver lacks pregnant belly: ‘The feeling of life and kicking’
‘Crazy how you can miss the feeling of life and kicking. Homesick and also happy that I can now hold him in my arms, but I still often grab my stomach and it now feels empty.’

Despite the fact that Kimberley is no longer pregnant, she still likes to show off her belly. ‘It is often the case that you have to ‘hide’ the belly immediately after your pregnancy. After all, there is no longer a baby in it and so it is regularly regarded as ‘not beautiful’. So I’ll show him. (…) I can only see the beauty of my body that has worked so hard, that everything has to do to create life and put on earth and what has been such a f*cking fantastic home for my son. What could be better than that, seriously.’

Kimberley’s son Dani was born on Saturday March 12 after a peaceful home birth. At the end of February, the actress wrote a column about this for Kek Mama. ‘This time I would like to dance, meditate and above all stay calm. Without pain relief, not because I love pain, but because I like to opt for a water birth with as little medical intervention or distraction as possible.’
