Jennifer Aniston on eternal pregnancy rumours: ‘Very painful’
She tells this in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Little changed
Several documentaries, such as the one about Britney Spears, look back critically at the way the press used to treat stars. According to Jennifer Aniston, who is herself a frequent topic of conversation, little has changed since then. “I think people still do it today. In the past, tabloids wrote nasty things about the personal lives of stars, now they are ordinary people on social media,” says the actress. It’s been a long time since she last viewed a tabloid. ‘Am I still pregnant with twins? Will I be a miracle mother of 52?’ she laughs. According to Jennifer, it seems as if the tabloids have passed the baton to any ‘Jan Asshole’ behind a screen who can leave an insult. ‘I often wonder what people actually get out of that.’

Painful and annoying
Reading all those rumors was not easy for the actress. “I took it personally—the pregnancy rumors and the ‘she prefers her career over kids’ rumor. Then I think: you have no idea what’s going on with me: personally, medically, why I can’t… can I have children?’ said Jennifer. “They don’t know anything about you, and that was really painful and annoying.”
