Jan Versteegh comes with a book about fatherhood
After two children – and therefore quite a bit of experience with diapers, sleepless nights and toddler tantrums – it is high time for a book about fatherhood, according to Jan Versteegh. “Proud as a peacock,” the presenter writes with the announcement on Instagram.
‘YES. Finally I can tell! I have written to this for the past five years as a father,” Jan writes at the cover of his book ‘Deadly tired & overjoyed: the best preparation for fatherhood’. “The ideal book for expectant fathers who do want to know what to expect, but do not feel like a self-help book.”
Beautiful and sad sides
What tips can you expect in the book? “You will learn how to change a diaper and give a bottle. With the beautiful sides, but also the sad moments. About the loss of a child, locking yourself out while your baby is inside and tantrums in the supermarket,” the presenter writes. “But also about the greatest love you will ever feel, the first time they say the word ‘daddy’ and countless sleepless nights.” In short: everything that comes with fatherhood. Jan is very happy with his paper baby. “Proud as a peacock!” Curious? The book will be available in (digital) stores on November 15.
