New updates for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch

Apple released several software updates last week. iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 fixes several bugs. Among other things, the battery problems with iPhones should be resolved after the update.

Brand new, but customers are not enthusiastic about it. According to Nikkei Asia Apple has started to reduce production of the iPhone SE 2022. The reason is cited as the low demand.

This low demand would in turn be the result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Not only Nikkei Asia comes out with this news. Tech expert Ming-Chi Kuo claims the same. All in all, it seems that the iPhone SE 2022 is anything but a sales success.

iPhone will not get a fingerprint scanner under the screen in the coming years

The famous Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo previously predicted that Apple would release an iPhone with Touch ID and Face ID in 2023.

He’s coming back to that now. He expects that the fingerprint scanner will not make a comeback on high-end iPhones either next year or in 2024. The affordable iPhone SE 2022 still has an old-fashioned home button with Touch ID.

Apple Stores and other repair shops no longer repair iPhones reported missing. This is apparent from an internal memo in the hands of MacRumors†

Apple’s policy on missing and stolen iPhones has always been sharp. Previously, employees of the Genius Bar of official Apple Stores were banned from providing repair services if the ‘Find My’ feature was enabled on the device.

‘iPhone 14 Pro gets bigger camera bump with 48-megapixel camera’

The camera on the new iPhone 14 Pro is going to be big – literally and figuratively. Rumor has it that the camera island is getting bigger.

An Apple insider says that this is because the camera is getting a major upgrade: the main lens of the iPhone 14 Pro has a sensor with no less than 48 megapixels. Until now, iPhones have always had a maximum resolution of 12 megapixels.
