‘iPhone of 2022 can’t be broken thanks to titanium housing’

Clumsy people beware. The iPhone of 2022 seems to get a titanium case. As a result, it should be much stronger than the current models.

Read on after the ad.

Rumor: iPhone will get titanium housing in 202222

US Bank Analysts JP Morgan Chase have received from their sources that Apple has big plans for 2022. The more expensive iPhone Pro models seem to get a titanium housing. Manufacturer Foxconn would supply the sturdy frames.

There is currently no iPhone with a titanium case on the market. Apple already uses the material for the Apple Card payment card and some models of the Apple Watch 6. Unfortunately, both are not available in the Netherlands.

Titanium is a relatively hard material. An additional advantage is that it is not very sensitive to scratches. Apple seems to be listening to the criticism of the housing of the iPhone 12 phones. These frames scratch relatively quickly. The latest iPhones are made of aluminum and stainless steel.

‘2022 will be the big iPhone year’

Furthermore, the American bank emphasizes that 2022 will be a huge year for the iPhone. Several major changes were planned. 2021, on the other hand, seems to be a gap year, with minor upgrades.

Speaking of which, if you’re still looking for a compact, yet powerful iPhone, this year’s the one for you. JP Morgan Chase confirms the rumors that the iPhone 13 mini will not get a successor. In 2022, only large iPhones seem to come out.

More about the iPhone 13

An evolution, but not a revolution. We expect the iPhone 13 to get a faster chip, slightly better cameras and a smoother screen, but broadly speaking, the phone builds on the foundation of the iPhone 12.

This also means that we expect four devices. In addition to the entry-level model, Apple will probably also release the 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. In the video below we discuss the most credible rumors about all these phones.
