iPhone 15 Pro gets function from Mac with Thunderbolt (and that’s nice)
It’s still a bit of a wait, but there will also be a new iPhone this year. According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 15 Pro will also get Thunderbolt.
Read on after the ad.
iPhone 15 Pro gets Thunderbolt
We now know for sure that the new iPhone will look a lot like the iPhone 14 in terms of appearance. But under the hood there will be quite a few changes with the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple’s latest smartphone is rumored to even get a function from the Mac. The iPhone 15 Pro will receive support for Thunderbolt.
But what’s the point of that? Your iPhone 15 Pro can then transfer files faster (via the cable). This has significant advantages, especially when you work a lot with (large) video files. In addition, you can also connect more accessories to your iPhone 15 Pro.
Also useful for photographers and video makers
Photographers and videographers in particular take the most advantage of the Thunderbolt feature on the iPhone 15 Pro. For example, you can connect a 4K monitor (with Thunderbolt) to your iPhone while you take photos or videos. You can then see on the screen a lot clearer what you see on your iPhone, but without all the buttons and options. This allows you to better check what exactly you want to record.
iPhone 15 Pro: This is going to change more
It is almost certain that the iPhone 15 Pro will also have a USB-C port instead of the lightning port. This is because of a new law in the European Union about a common charging port for all smartphones. All new electronic devices must have a USB-C connection before November 2024.
If we are to believe the rumors, the ring signal switch (also known as the mute switch) will also be overhauled in the next iPhone generation. This button is then replaced on the iPhone 15 Pro by the special ‘action button’. And the cool thing is: this button comes with different functions.
