Rumor: iPhone 14 Pro corners are getting rounder
The corners of the iPhone 14 Pro get a larger radius than before. Ian Zelbo, a graphical renderer of Apple products, rendered the new design. The corners become rounder to match the camera module on the back of the device. The iPhone 14 Pro will get even larger lenses than its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro. However, the angles of the iPhone 14 Pro Max would remain the same – perhaps because the device is a lot larger than the regular 14 Pro.
Apple has big camera upgrades in store for us. For example, the resolution would go up to 48 megapixels. The sensor also grows by 57 percent. All iPhone cameras since 2015 have a resolution of 12 megapixels. Although Apple improves these cameras every year in terms of light sensitivity and color reproduction, the resolution has remained the same for years now.
Thanks to the rounder corners, the curves of the screen also have a larger radius. This happened before, when Apple made the switch from the iPhone 11 to the iPhone 12. The rounder corners of the iPhone 14 Pro are probably not very noticeable. However, you can no longer use cases for your iPhone 13.

More on Apple’s next Pro smartphone
We have to be patient for another five months before we see the iPhone 14 series for the first time (officially). Yet we already know quite a lot about the new smartphones. For example, the Pro models will probably get a new design with two holes in the screen. So this is the year we say goodbye to the controversial notch that we’ve been embracing for about five years now. At least that applies to the Pro models.
The regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max keep the current design, including the notch. Unfortunately, there will be no iPhone 14 mini on the market. Remarkably, the regular iPhone 14 smartphones would also run on the ‘old’ A15 chip of the iPhone 13. The Pro models get a more powerful A16 processor.
