iPhone 14 concept shows new design with hole in the screen
Apple is rumored to be working on a complete redesign for the iPhone, with the selfie camera hidden in a hole in the screen. What that might look like is shown by a beautiful concept by Ben Geskin.

iPhone 14 concept
The iPhone 13 has almost the same looks as its predecessor, but that will probably be different with the 2022 flagship. Apple wants to get rid of the notch and has plans for a so-called ‘punch-hole’ design. The camera then no longer nests in a notch, but is hidden in a small hole. Many Android devices already have such a design.
designer Ben Geskin forged the rumors together into a concept. In it we see an iPhone 14 without a notch, but with a camera hole. It is oval and a lot bigger than the camera hole at Android competitors. Apple needs that space for the Face ID components. It’s a pity that the hole is on the large side, but it looks a lot nicer than the current notch.
Ideally, Apple would like to integrate the sensors for facial recognition into the screen, but the technology does not seem to be ready for that. Apple doesn’t want to go back to Touch ID, so it seems unlikely that the iPhone 14 will have a design with a tiny camera hole. The Cupertino company does think it’s time for a redesign, so it is likely that it will be something like this iPhone 14 concept from Geskin.
Rumors about iPhone 14
Although the release is still a long way off, there have been many rumors about the iPhone 14. Apple is reported to stop with the mini-iPhone. It will be replaced by an iPhone 14 Max, which, like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, has a 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will be the iPhones with the smallest screen size: 6.1 inches.
The Pro models seem to have an impressive 48 megapixel camera. Furthermore, the sensor size increases in all four models, allowing the camera to capture even more detail and perform better in the dark. Want to read more rumors about the iPhone 14? You can read all about it in this article:
