Apple will soon be introducing four new smartphones: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now the first prizes have appeared and they are tough. Several models are really expensive. There is even no configuration, which makes the storage upgrade more expensive.

iPhone 13 Pro Max for almost 2,000 euros?

The currently most expensive smartphone from Apple, the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 512 GB of internal memory, costs a mere 1,599 euros. That will change with the iPhone 13. Apple is supposed to drive prices up a lot. But there is also a good reason for this. The maximum available storage is to increase to 1 TB, which could result in prices of almost 2,000 euros.

    • 64 GB for 5,499 yuan (720 euros)
    • 128 GB for 5,999 yuan (785 euros)
    • 256 GB for 6,799 yuan (890 euros)
  • iPhone 13:
    • 64 GB for 6,299 yuan (825 euros)
    • 128 GB for 6,799 yuan (890 euros)
    • 256 GB for 7,599 yuan (995 euros)
  • iPhone 13 Pro:
    • 128 GB for 8,499 yuan
    • 512 GB for 10,499 yuan
    • 1 TB for 13,299 yuan
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max:
    • 128 GB for 9,299 yuan
    • 512 GB for 11,299 yuan
    • 1 TB for 14,099 yuan

According to the list, the most expensive iPhone will probably jump to a price of 1,799 euros or 1,849 euros. Doubling the memory would cost 367 euros. The prices are only converted. The iPhone 13 Pro Max costs here “only” just under 1,500 euros. If you were to add the 367 euros to the German price of the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 512 GB, it would be 1,966 euros. Maybe Apple will make it easy for us and ask for 1,999 euros. But it could get even more expensive. With the iPad Pro, the storage upgrade from 512 GB to 1 TB costs 440 euros.

iPhone 13 Pro with 256 GB is no longer available

It is also noticeable that the iPhone 13 Pro with 256 GB is no longer there. Instead, they will introduce a 1 TB model and make 512 GB the golden mean.
