The new iPad mini 2021 has only just come out; on September 24, the first models were delivered to customers. The smallest tablet has been given a completely new design, which is very similar to the iPad Air. The most striking thing is that the home button has disappeared, leaving room for a larger screen.
There is great enthusiasm for the iPad mini 2021, but some users have noted that there is a problem with the way the screen refreshes. This will update one side of the screen at a slightly different rate than the other. This problem would be especially visible in portrait mode.

And once you’ve seen it, it’s hard not to see it, some users say. It would then become irritating and it could even cause eyestrain.
Hardware, or software?
It is not yet clear whether it is a hardware problem (which is the most likely), or whether Apple can solve the problem with software. Also, we don’t know yet if the scrolling issue occurs on a particular batch of iPad mini 6 units, or if it affects all models.
