iPad Air gets gadgets from the more expensive Pro
The iPad Air 2022 has become more powerful with elements that were previously only for the Pro.
The name has remained the same. And the appearance for the most part too. But what has happened under the hood is of course different. The big news of the iPad Air is that Apple has brought the M1 chipset to this model. Previously, this chip was only for the iPad Pro and the Mac models, of course. It makes the iPad Air 2022 a bit more powerful.
The camera with a wide-angle lens is also new. This also includes support for Apple’s Center Stage. This allows you to make video calls or hold meetings while the camera uses software to put you in the center of attention. This technology can now also be found on the iPad Air 2022. Like the iPhone SE, the iPad Air also continues to rely on Touch ID. The button is on top of the tablet. All in all, a small refresh for this iPad.
The new iPad Air comes in the colors Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, Purple and Blue. You can use accessories in combination with the tablet, such as the second-generation Apple Pencil and the Magic Keyboard.
Prices start at 698.50 euros for the latest iPad with 64 GB storage. There is also a variant with 256 GB. This costs 868.50 euros. There is no model with 128 GB, unfortunately. These are the prices for the WiFi variant, if you want cellular then another 170 euros will be added!
