iOS 16 beta 5: the list of new features
Apple today released beta 5 of iOS 16 on iPhone and iPad. There are some new features on the program, this is the opportunity to discover them one by one.
— It is now possible to have the battery percentage in the status bar of iPhones with Face ID. However, some models are not entitled to this, such as the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini.
— A new sound is available with the Find My app when you try to play a sound on your device to find out its location. It’s a little stronger than before.
— The same sound exists when you activate the control center on the Apple Watch and then press the iPhone icon to locate it.

— A viewer appears at the widget level for the media currently playing on the lock screen. It reacts in real time according to the media played.
— When you take a screenshot, edit it and press OK, you now have the ‘Copy and Delete’ option, in addition to ‘Delete Screenshot’.
— A new screen appears after restarting the iPhone, prompting the user to select their phone line in order to enter the PIN.
Beta 5 of iOS 16 is currently in the hands of developers. The new public beta with the same new features should normally arrive tomorrow.
