Instagram now lets you ‘like’ Stories

Without giving much publicity to it, Instagram has made a new option available. From now on it is possible to like someone’s Instagram Stories post.

A new feature has been added to the Instagram app. Liking a photo or video has been possible since the beginning, but from now on you can also leave a heart with a story that someone shares via Instagram Stories. The feature will be rolled out to everyone from now on, and is different from sending an emotion to someone. For some time now you can already choose a preset emoji, and send it to that person as a response.

Liking a story in Stories is easy. All you have to do is tap the heart, which you can find next to the text field next to a story. The other person will then see that you like a story.
