Huawei is probably preparing its own tracking device or service

If you’re scared after reading the headline, take a break again. In fact, it is not (perhaps, one never knows) any global sci-fi espionage, but about the preparation of one already relatively widespread practical product under a new brand. A recent registration with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) shows that a Chinese company intends to launch a novelty called Huawei S-Tag, which should probably be nothing more than own localization pendant.

Apple and Samsung came out with their “Tags” a few months ago (we tested its Galaxy SmartTag) and it is logical that Huawei will try to enter this field as well. After all, the situation with mobile phones is not completely rosy, so why not try it with something what other big players bet on? The patent registration dates from October 28 and is therefore completely new. Interestingly, the patent does not directly include the “pendant” category. This can be either an omission or a mistake, or it will be an S-Tag part or function of another product. Like a watch. Let’s be surprised.

But it should definitely be a tool in the final, which will really be possible to watch (as in the case of the competition) anything or anyone who has the device with them. In any case, the registration is for the territory of the EU, so we can probably look forward to the novelty in our country as well.
