- Open WhatsApp
- Tap the three dots top right and choose Settings
- Select Account and choose Delete my account
- Enter your used here phone number and press Delete my account
Deleting your WhatsApp account is basically the same on iOS smartphones. In the Settings you go under Account to delete my account and enter your used phone number again.
Voilà, your account has now been permanently deleted, including your chat history, backups and the risk of your data being used in some way.
