In the first step you open the LinkedIn app on your smartphone.

Then you click your profile picture in the top left corner.

A menu immediately opens up on the side. There you click the “Ideas‘ at the bottom of the screen.

It continues with the “data protection” on the next page.

Once there, scroll down to the “Who may contact you‘ and then select the ‘contact requests” out of.

Basically, the first option is “All on LinkedIn (recommended)“ activated. We don’t want that. To ensure more privacy and less spam in your requests folder, choose the second or even the third option.
Once you’ve done that, the annoying LinkedIn spam will be significantly reduced.
