How often do you listen to podcasts?

Financial advice, murder stories, music explanations, tech: there is a wide range of podcasts for you on the streaming services. The question in this AW Poll is: do you listen to them and if so, how often?

Spotify has invested a lot of money in podcasts and it’s not for nothing. These audio programs that were already a hit in the smartphone era have made a comeback and the streaming service is spending millions to get certain celebrities to do podcasts. In the Netherlands we also have various podcasts from famous people, such as Monica Geuze and Marc-Marie Huybrechts.

Podcasts sometimes seem like a virus; one completely runs away with it and only wants to listen to podcasts, while another prefers to spend his time with earplugs on music. In any case, it is not something that many people do as the only activity. You generally listen to a podcast when you are doing the dishes, driving to work or going for a walk with the dog. That’s not a bad thing: those makers know that too. Plus, there are also a lot of things that don’t happen while listening to a podcast, such as having a conversation with someone or writing an article for example.
