Horror FOBIA attracts a sect crossing science and faith -apkrig
One of the problems of modern independent horror is certainly their interchangeability. At least at first glance, many of them look very similar, and often one eventually finds that they also play a similar role. For indie production of scary games, this has been the case at least since the release of PT, the style of which many authors try to imitate. On the other hand, we also owe the playable teaser of the canceled Silent Hills to the great boom of horror movies in recent years and a few really successful games that might never have come about without his inspiration.
In our search for the truth, we will explore different worlds with the help of a camera and defend against the monsters that cross the local corridors.
The new horror film FOBIA – St. is now also seeking the attention of fans. Dinfna Hotel from the Brazilian team Pulsatrix Studios. It was founded by three local young developers who dream of their own Brazilian AAA game, with which they would be able to break into the whole world. The phobia is targeting the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series and promises a path full of suspense and investigation, which will begin in the hotel whose names have entered the game’s subtitle. As in the case of many other projects mentioned in the introduction, this is a first person psychological horror, which is focused on environmental research, survival mechanisms and solving puzzles.
The mentioned decadent hotel is inhabited by a technologically advanced sect, which seeks a connection between science and faith. This religion involves human improvement through genetic modification and parallel reality. The past, present and future in the title hotel are intertwined in a story full of mysteries and conspiracies, the studio attracts. In our search for the truth, we will explore different worlds with the help of a camera and defend against the monsters that cross the local corridors. But we will not just hide from the danger and escape. Unlike some defensive horror movies, we will have a weapon here.
The authors promise that the puzzles will have different solutions. They entice to combine objects and improve them. The protagonist is the budding journalist Roberto, who searches for mysterious disappearances, but may eventually find more than he wanted. But best of all, you can at least get into his skin right away on your PC, for example. There is a demo for Windows, which you can find on Steam. The environment of the hotel probably evokes Resident Evil the most, although the camera again clearly refers to Outlast and the changes in the environment for the change to Silent Hill. The game is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine and will be released by Maximum Games, which has newly selected it for its portfolio.
