Large display with thin frames

The display of the new smartphone received a diagonal of 6.67 ″ and a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. It is an IPS panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a frame only 1.05 mm thin. As a result, the display occupies up to 94.4% of the front.

The application is run by 6 GB of RAM, the performance should be ensured by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor (information is still being verified).

The operating system is Android 11 with the Magic UI 4.2 extension and full support for Google services. However, it would like Android 12, which was introduced a few months ago. User data can be stored on the internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB.

Fast charging and 4 cameras in the back

One of the best features of the novelty is the fast SuperCharge charging with a power of 66 W. The manufacturer states that you will get 40% of the battery in just 10 minutes of charging. It should only take 39 minutes to fully charge.

The camera on the back consists of four sensors. Again, we have two unnecessary two-megapixel sensors (macro and depth), but we understand this marketing decision. Users still decide on the number of cameras. The main camera has a resolution of 64 MP and will also enjoy the presence of an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor.

Competition

The new Honor 50 Lite will be challenging in a competitive battle. For a similar price, it is possible to buy, for example, a POCO F3 with a 120 Hz AMOLED display, higher power, a stronger battery with slower charging and a lower resolution of the main camera.

An interesting choice is also the Realme 7 Pro with a Super AMOLED display, 4500 mAh battery, 64 MP camera and 65 W charging. The competition will also be Huawei nova 8i, which is practically the same smartphone sold under a different brand and without Google services.
