The reason for the fans’ concerns is, of course, the history of this title. It has been speculated about at least since 2018, when an impressive video from the early version escaped. He was in development even longer. However, the game was not officially announced until September 2020 and was to be released last year. But in January 2021, the Warners postponed an attractive news item until 2022. We have learned almost nothing about the game itself since then.

In December, we wrote that the title from Avalanche Software had new helpers. The teams Sumo Nottingham and Red Kite Games joined the development of the project. Both fall under Sumo Digital. At the same time, it should be emphasized that this is not a change in the position of developers, but a help. Avalanche Software remains the main authors. However, we do not know further details about this cooperation, the announcement was very brief. Insider Millie Amand pointed out that Warner Bros. should have downloaded the game from The Game Awards at the last minute. Wonder Woman from Monolith Productions reportedly took her place.
