Great news for customers. 4ka and SWAN will definitely merge in order to create a full-fledged operator

4ka still has one of the best data in the price / amount of data ratio, which attracts especially the younger generation, which gives more and more data. However, some customers expect more than just the services of a mobile operator. The competition has been converging services for a long time, you can choose a flat rate, internet, television. It is not possible in 4 yet, but it should change. The combination of SWAN and 4ky will definitely bear fruit.

In the press release, the operators state that from 2022, the sister companies SWAN and SWAN Mobile will merge in order to create a full-fledged communication operator offering convergent, fixed and mobile services. The offer for individuals and households will be sold under the 4ka brand. Corporate services will remain under the SWAN brand.

“In January 2022, we will take another big and important step in consolidating the Slovak telecommunications market. We have integrated smaller players over the last decade and three years ago, by merging the two largest alternative operators – BENESTRA and SWAN, we created a relevant Slovak competitor to the big three multinational telecommunications operators. Today, it is an equally important operation that will allow us to be an even stronger player. We are also connecting our sister telecommunications operators SWAN and SWAN Mobile due to the possibility of gradually creating and offering packages of fixed and mobile services. ”

One of the goals of the new operator will be to bring ambitious solutions for all types of customers. The fact that it will be the only operator with purely Slovak owners is also interesting.

“We have the ambition to become the third national operator in Slovakia with a convergent offer next year. Another important task before us is to build a 5G network, which we, by the way, in cooperation with SWAN and SWAN Mobile, was the first in Slovakia to put into commercial operation. In a few months, we will start providing services in the fifth generation network, in addition to Bratislava, also in Trnava and Nitra: ”
