Grand Prix Radio app lets you synchronize Olav Mol commentary with the broadcast

Do you miss Olav Mol’s commentary at the upcoming Formula 1 races? Then there is now good news. With the Grand Prix Radio App you can listen to the commentary while watching the race.

With the transfer of the rights for Formula 1 from Ziggo Sport to ViaPlay, a legend in this sports world also disappears. Olav Mol was the commentator on Formula 1 broadcasts for years, but ViaPlay has opted for other commentators. However, there is now good news. With the Grand Prix Radio app you can still enjoy Olav Mol’s commentary.

You use the (free) app and the slider present for this. It doesn’t matter which channel you watch; with this slider you can precisely match the race commentary to the image, so that it is synchronized. Which is nice, because you don’t want to hear that someone has crashed first, and then see it on screen later.

Not only Olav Mol can be heard with his comments. The rest of the commentary, such as the racing sounds, is also forwarded. This allows you to turn off the audio from your video service, and for example connect your phone to a Bluetooth speaker for the audio for the best sound quality.
