Google updates Weather, Fitbit and Phone app for Wear OS
Three applications have been updated by Google with a new update. It concerns three Wear OS apps that serve for calling, Fitbit and the weather.
New updates for Wear OS apps
Google had a big announcement yesterday, including the Pixel Watch. Three applications for Wear OS are now updated with an update. You can now use the updated weather app on your watch. The app shows a minimalistic image with the current location. You can also view the forecast (from Weather.com), as well as the expected precipitation and the UV index. You can also view the forecast for the next eight hours and the next five days.
Phone
Another application that has been updated is the Phone app, or Google Phone. The application has been added to the Play Store in Wear OS, so that the application can be updated faster. You can now use the redesigned user interface. This contains about larger icons and larger text.
Fitbit
Fitbit for Wear OS has also been updated. It has a new interface with three main tabs, which are Discover, Today and Community. The ‘Premium’ tab has been removed. Earlier it was announced that Google will require a Google account for the use of Fitbit.
