There are some differences, but also some similarities between the two models. For example, the two Pixel 6 smartphones get a new Tensor chipset, and it is no longer from Qualcomm. They are assisted by the Titan M2 security check.

5 years of updates

A plus for both models is reflected in the update policy. Google promises at least 5 years of security updates, and four years of Android updates. Of course, the phones with Android 12 appear with the new Material You interface. Google’s update policy is a lot better than that of the competitors. We start with the Pixel 6. This smartphone offers a flat screen, and has a size of 6.4 inches. This AMOLED display offers a Full-HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 6 has two cameras on board the smartphone. This is a 50 megapixel main lens and a 12 megapixel wide-angle lens. On the front is an 8 megapixel front camera. The device has 8GB of RAM and you can choose from 128GB or 256GB of storage. The battery capacity is 4610 mAh, and can be charged with 30W. Wireless charging goes with 21W.

Pixel 6 Pro

If you choose the Google Pixel 6 Pro, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that continues on the sides of the device. On the back there is room for three cameras in the thick camera module. This is a 50 megapixel main lens, 48 ​​megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 12MP wide angle lens. This telephoto lens lets you zoom in 4x optically. At the front is an 11.1 megapixel lens. The Pixel 6 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of storage. The Pixel 6 Pro offers a battery of 5000 mAh and can be charged with 30W just like the Pixel 6.
