Google explains more about privacy to Chrome users
Google has developed a privacy guide to help people who use Chrome learn more about privacy within the browser. The guide walks people through the process of adjusting browser privacy settings and also explains the consequences of certain choices.

Chrome Privacy Guide
For example, the guide takes you through how to adjust cookie settings, how Safe Browsing works, how to improve searches and how history synchronization works. It ultimately helps improve your Chrome browser experience, while also helping users take more ownership of their privacy.
Many internet surfers have an idea of what a certain setting means, but at the same time they don’t always know the hat and the brim. Google tries with the guide to ensure that people are better informed about what certain settings mean and what the consequences are. This allows you to make an informed choice and you know exactly what to expect from that surfing experience after adjusting those options.

Google tells you where to find this guide: “Soon you’ll see a new Privacy Guide card in the ‘Privacy & Security’ tab in your Chrome settings, which you can find by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the Chrome browser. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to do the whole tour in one go, your changes will be saved along the way, so you can pick them up again when it suits you best.”
The privacy guide will be rolled out in the coming weeks for people with Chrome version 100. That version was released last week, so check whether you already have 100 via the three dots in the top right of Chrome under ‘Help’ and ‘About Google Chrome’. If so, at least you’re ready to receive the guide when the time comes.
