Google enriches Bard’s answers with images
Google’s AI chatbot Bard now also adds images to its answers where necessary. With this update, the text results of the AI chatbot are made visual. The images are from Google Search.
Text and images in the results
Bard brings the images from Google Search to version 2023.05.23 to Bard. Previously, the answers were only shown in text, but now – if relevant – images are also added. 9to5Google discovered this on the update page of the AI bot.
For example, if you ask Bard “What are some must-see sights in Apeldoorn?”, this is the result:
To keep things as transparent as possible, Google also lists sources for the images so it’s clear where they come from.

Bart in the Netherlands
Bard does not yet work in the Netherlands and the Dutch language is not yet supported, which probably has something to do with this. The addition of images to Bard’s answers only works for English questions, not for other languages that Bard supports.
We assume that AI chatbot Bard can be used here in the future. Until then, we can expect artificial intelligence (AI) in many more places, if not already. For example, Googling generative AI functions will change forever and AI will also come to Gmail, Docs and Sheets. In addition, Bard now also works with Google Lens. So you can ask Bard to “write a funny caption about your dogs” as soon as you upload a photo of your dogs.
