Good plan: the Xiaomi Redmi 10, better value for money at 155 €
Do not confuse the Redmi 10 with the Redmi Note 10 (10, 10 5G, 10S and 10 Pro). For the moment, there is only one Redmi 10 and it is a smartphone that combines a lot of qualities in this year 2021. First of all, we have good performance with such an interesting MediaTek Helio G88 SoC on paper that in real condition, a dual-SIM + microSD “combo” (without choosing one or the other), an XXL 5000 mAh battery which disengages and above all a screen not bad at all.

Comfortable performance and nickel screen
The latter is rather comfortable with a diagonal of 6.5 inches (16.5 cm), but it is refreshed in 90 Hz “adaptive”. This means that the scanning is better than the standard 60 Hz scanning (409 DPI and 2400 x 1080 pixels), but it adapts to your use: and that changes just as well in video, as in navigation or as in gaming sessions. A function reserved for devices that are usually much more expensive.
A nice set of features
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 integrates 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage expandable to 512 GB, a recent Android 11 environment with a very damn MIUI 12.5.3 overlay, dual band WiFi 5, NFC, but also (Xiaomi obliges) , an FM radio receiver and an infrared transmitter to transform your smartphone into a universal remote control (see our video). On the photo side, we are rather spoiled for this segment with a rather versatile 50 megapixel main sensor, an ultra wide-angle, a macro mode and a lens for portraits which do the job devilishly and video in 1080p.
